Morty is the owner of Salon Red. A stylist who loves his craft, Morty spends a lot of his time making sure clients are ecstatic about their time at Salon Red, the staff is passionate about their clients, and the salon supports both client and staff needs.

Morty's favorite moments are when he hears someone say "That was wonderful!" and "Thank-you so much! I feel/look so much better!". Apparently, he is a very content person after each day at Salon Red.

Alex graduated from Florida Atlantic University in Boca Raton, Fl in May 2009. He earned a double major in management with focus on small business, entrepreneurship and marketing.  He has been the salon manager sine January 2010.

Born in Cincinnati, Ohio, Barbara has been in the beauty industry since 1991.  She is a leader in our education program. Her specialties include fine hair, special occasion hair, and she is a certified Racoon extensionist. is also certified in Ouidad for curl hair cutting and styling.

Belinda has been a hair stylist at Salon Red since 2000. She is a Redken certified colorist as well as The American Board of Certified Hair Colorist. She has completed classes with TiGi Hair Academy and Redken Academy in New York. She also is certified in Ouidad cutting and styling for curly hair. Belinda loves doing color (especially blondes!). She also enjoys the challenges of mens' cuts and is experienced with special occasion hair styling.

Carolyn was born in Montgomery County, Maryland. She attended the Graham Webb Academy and has attended several advance color and cutting classes in New York and the local area. She has also participated in hair and fashion shows.

Carolyn's passion is color, making use of her advanced training!

Charo was born and raised in Peru, South America. She attended the Aesthetic Cosmetology School. She has taken classes from Goldwell and advanced Redken classes. Charo is trained to do the Keratin Treatment. Charo enjoys doing color and perms!

Danielle has 18 years of experience. She has completed several Tony and Guy Advanced cut and color courses in London. Also, Goldwell color in Germany. Superior experience with detailed cutting that coincides with precise color formulations and techniques.

Born in Fez, Morocco and raised in Chevy Chase, Maryland, Joe was trained by the Studio of Hair Concepts. He has taken classes from Redken, Sassoon, Sebastian, Toni & Guy, Cabella, Trevor Sorbie, and many, many more!

Joe is an easy going master designer who having been a salon owner for 20 years, is now back to doing what he loves most, hair.

Kym graduated in 2009 from The Temple, A Paul Mitchell Partner School, in Frederick, Maryland where she was born and raised. She takes pride
in working with fine hair. Her passion is in creating dimensional hair color and special occasion hair styles.

Maryam was born and rasied in Tehran, Iran. She has a B.S. in psychology. She graduated from Hair Expressions Academy, A Paul Mitchell Partner School and is now a liscensed esthetician.

She is skilled in waxing, facials, and threading. Maryam has attended many advanced education classes including; the International Dermal Institute for various skin types, Estee Lauder make-up training and G.M. Collin product knowledge. Maryam is very eager to grow here at Salon Red!

Morgan was born and raised in Germantown. She has spent the last six years in salons. Morgan is under the instruction of Designer, Stylist Danielle and is eager for knowledge. She does keratin, color and blow-drying at the salon

Rob was born in Connecticut, grew up in the town of Westport, and has lived in many parts of the country, including Memphis, TN, and Reno, NV. He moved to Maryland in 1989, and graduated from the Potomac Massage Training Institute, with course work in Anatomy, Physiology and Kinesiology. He has National Certification in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and Level I and Level II Connective Tissue (Myofascial) Massage, belongs to the National Massage Therapy Association, and is certified and licensed by the State of Maryland.

Rob loves to do personalized sessions geared towards the specific needs of clients. Starting with a consultation prior to a massage, Rob will build off the basic Sweedish (relaxing or therapeutic) or Deep Tissue massages, incorporating his prior training as a physical therapy aide to create sessions that are both relaxing & therapeutic and result in more elasticity, with greater ability to move freely with decreased pain and stiffness.

Veronica was born and raised in Frederick, MD.  She attended The Temple, A Paul Mitchell Partner School, in Frederick. Veronica stays up to date on the latest trends and loves being creative with her work. Veronica is certified in Japanese Liscio straightening and specializes in Keratin Complex by Coppola. Her passions are special occasion hair and color processes.
